William R. Hogarty Memorial Library

One of our Society's goals, that of establishing a museum and archival library, has been realized in our William R. Hogarty Memorial Library. The Library houses over 13,000 catalogued items relating to the Northwestern Pacific Railroad and other Redwood Empire rail lines. Temporarily housed in a secure, temperature controlled building, the Library contains 3,500 photographs, 1,700 maps, 900 plans, a large reference book library, collections of employee timetables and rosters, as well as many historical documents.

We are actively seeking a permanent home for our Library and Archive.

Currently the Library is only open by special arrangement. To gain access for research purposes contact the
NWPRRHS secretary.
